How the deodorant works: 
 
Natural deodorants are not antiperspirants so they don't claim to stop you sweating. Unlike antiperstpirants, they don't contain any aluminium, which is used to block the pores and stop sweat. Instead they use a combination of natural ingredients to soothe the skin in the underarm area with ingredients that naturally neutralise body odour.
 
Heavenly Organics Deodorant Powders uses bicarbonate of soda blended with arrowroot to naturally absorb moisture from the underarm area and neutralise body odour. The addition of bentonite clay also helps to draw toxins out from the skin and eliminate odour.
 
The result is a very fine powder that sits on the skin without any need for rubbing in, so there's less chance of the underarms being irritated.
