Loofah sponges are ever popular as they give a naturally non-abrasive exfoliating clean. And we've got two sizes for you to choose from.

Super adaptable, the loofahs can be used gently on the face to slough away dead skin. Their non-abrasive texture also means that our bigger loofah is perfect for an all-over exfoliating scrub.

And the best thing about these adaptable cleaners is that they're totally natural as they are the fruit of the loofah gourd - a vigourously growing plant that is a distant cousin of the squash and cucumber. When the fruits of the loofah are left to mature, eventually the skin is peeled back to reveal the fibourous sponge-like loofah.

The beauty of loofahs is that, being derived from a vegetable, when they come to the end of their life, you can simply compost them as they're totally biodegradable.

  • To use:

When they're dry loofah sponges feel course and hard. Simply soak them in water for a couple of minutes before use and the loofah will  expand, becoming soft and flexible.

Apply natural soap to the loofah and then scrub damp skin gently, in a circular motion.

    To store:

Rinse out the loofah after every use and leave it to air-dry to help prolong its life.

Due to its natural composition, loofahs need regular cleaning between uses either by hand or put it in the washing machine occasionally.
