Bain and Savon natural skincare

Family firm Bain and Savon have been making handmade soaps from all natural ingredients since 2002. Over the years they have extended their range to include foot scrubs, bubble bath crumble and make-up products such as mascara - all with no plastic packaging.

All their products are made of natural ingredients and cruelty-free, They are also free from parabens, SLS and palm oil.

Green Woman face and body creams

The Green Woman has been helping to revolutionise the way we buy deodorant since 2013 with their Fit Pit organic cream deodorants.
Handmade in small batches in their HQ in Shropshire, UK,
Fit Pit contains only natural ingredients and is also free from aluminium salts, parabens, BPAs, palm oil and petrochemicals. 

Iit's now available in 5 fragrances and 2 sizes.

Friendly Soap started producing handmade, ethical, natural soaps in 2008 in Yorkshire, England. And since then have branched out into lots of other goodies such as shaving bars and facial cleansers.

 

They use a good ole fashioned cold press to manufacture the bars, which are totally biodegradable. Their products have never been tested on animals. They are also free from parabens and SLS. Best of all, Friendly Soap packaging is also 100% recycled and biodegradable.

Funky Soap hand make all their products in small batches from their workshop in East Londo using only natural, pure oils and butters.
They do not use SLS, parabens or harmful preservatives.
 
Their range of products includes lots of wonderfully enticing combos (chocolate & orange soap...!). And they have also been approved as cruelty-free by the International 'Leaping Bunny' programme.

Since 2020 the family-run firm have been growing their range of kitchen and home accessories such as scrubbinig brushes and bamboo storage boxes.
And all their products don't just look fantastic but they're made of sustainable and biodegradable materials too.

Organic and plastic-free skincare

Founder Mary-Anne established her natural skincare company, Heavenly Organics, with a desire to make products from a few, simple ingredients. She wanted to move away from the chemical compositions of traditional High Street brands. And the result is a range of beauty products that are, quite simply, heavenly.

All the Heavenly Organics range is vegan, organic (obviously!), made from natural ingredients and doesn't contain any palm oil.. It is also totally plastic-free.

Love the Planet vegan makeup

There's no plastic to be found anywhere in Love the Planet's make-up. Just simple ingredients that are combined to make beautiful cosmetics.
Established in 2002, the brand offers a range of loose mineral powder make-up sold in cute refillable tins. And refills are available in compostable packets made of paper with biodegradable celluose and starch - saving you money and cutting waste in the long run. What's not to love?

The women at Pura have combined their serious concerns for the environment with their delight for fun and irresistable cosmetics in their selection of Lip Balms and Lip Scrubs.

Their range features lots of fruity and exotic flavours, with many based on favourite cocktails. And customers can enjoy them fully, knowing that all the ingredients are vegan, cruelty-free and naturally based.

Since they first began making their skincare products in 2017, Purity Natural Beauty have always used lots of good stuff from 'nature's pharmacy' and left out the bad.

 

They only use quality natural ingredients in their cosmetic. There's no petrochemicals, parabens or sulphates and definitely no plastic microbeads. Their products all come in glass jars with aluminium lids and as an added bonus they have plantable labels, which bloom into flower, helping us all give a little something back to nature.

Zao has been producing organic, sustainable and cruelty-free make-up for over 11 years now. And during this time it has proved that it is possible to create beautiful, high quality makeup products using only natural and non-toxic ingredients. The company is also contiunally looking at ways to reduce plastic waste and is at the forefront of ethical, sustainable cosmetics.

 

The key to its success is bamboo - a highly sustainable natural resource. Zao uses bamboo oil extract in many of its cosmetics. And many of its products come packaged in beautiful bamboo cases. Refills are available for many Zao products, all of which are vegan and are not tested on animals.

Zero Waste Path skincare

When Zero Waste Path founders Giulio and Bianca set themselves a target to live as sustainable a life as possible, they began making their own skincare products. The more they made, the more they realised that there was a demand for their handmade soaps, shampoos, body balms and lotions, And so, in 2018 ZWP skincare was born.

 

All the ZWP range is plastic-free. The products are made from natural ingredients, are vegan, cruelty-free and palm oil-free too.

And ZWP's mission to achieve zero waste includes every aspect of their business. They consider the sustainability of everything - from the ingredients to the packaging, and from the manufacturing process to the electricity used.
